JB WINS AGAIN
It is OFFICIAL!!! We have won the South Coast Interclub League for the fourth year in a row. Superb performance by the Club through the whole season. Along the way we won 5 of the 6 race events, only narrowly coming second to Illawarra at their home race in Wollongong.
In fact we won the Series by a massive 68 points. Of the 10 interclub competitions in the ACT and NSW no other winning club came near that. (Balance were next best and won their League by 30 points.)
No other club has won four in a row either!!
JBTC had a dominant 7 of the top 10 MVP finishers in our region this year. Congratulations to Bill Stahlhut, Rod Rose, Mandy Meredith, Elisha Bell, Annette Sampson, Tony Lim and Sile Crowe.
Special congrats to Bill Stahlhut who has shown yet again that he is one of the strongest supporters of our Club in both the InterClub and at Club Champs with his well deserved second consecutive Interclub MVP win.
Our Annual Dinner and presentation night is shaping up to be massive! Dates are still being determined but it could be towards the end of July. More information to come soon.
JUNE GROUP TRAINING
It’s duathlon season so come along to Iluka on June 18 for some run/ride/run fun. Duathlon is a great way to sharpen up the legs and build a strong base for the next tri season.
The session will include training for both adults and juniors with longer and shorter options available.
Please consider volunteering if you won’t be participating, or asking a family member to help out, as we need marshals to ensure these sessions can go ahead.
WHAT: Group duathlon training. Long and shorter course options or mix your own.
WHEN: Sunday June 18. 7:45 for seniors, juniors training after seniors at around 9:15. Please be aware that there may be athletes on the road as you enter or leave Iluka.
WHERE: Iluka car park in Booderee National Park.

WINTER RACES
Goodluck to those members still training for Ironman Cairns on June 18. Chris Stubbs , Bill Stahlhut, Scott Rankin, and Dave Edwards have been training solidly for the full Ironman while James Dixon will be racing in the 70.3. Have we missed anyone??? We hope it’s going well guys!
