A reminder that our Easter social swim and run will be on THIS Wednesday at the pop-up Brewery at Plantation Point. The forecast is a bit iffy but at this stage it’s all systems go. Swim at 4:30 and run at 5 so that we’re finished while it’s still daylight and have time to kick back for drinks and/or a bite.
Keep an eye on the WhatsApp training group and your email on Wednesday. We’ll let you know if we have to cancel. We suspect there may be a shortage of shelter if it’s bucketing down.
WHEN? Wednesday April 23. 4:30pm swim followed by a run at around 5. Come for the swim, the run, or both.
WHERE: Plantation Pt Vincentia. Meet at the water fountain near the Sailing Club.
WHY? Because we can. All welcome.
Upcoming races
Good luck to everyone racing at Wollongong this weekend. The Standard is an Australian Championship and the event will provide everyone looking to race at Worlds this year with a great opportunity to do a test run on the course.

Kudos too to those members nearing the end of their training for Port Mac IM and 70.3 in a couple of weeks. Rob Duffy was spotted towards the end of a 2.5 hour run this morning and looking pretty damned good!
